If you are anything like me, the first question you might be asking yourself (or even Googling at this very moment) might be: what in the world are Beta and ARC readers?

Admittedly, before I became a writer, I too had no idea what either of these terms meant, nor did I realize the critical role they would play in my writing and book launch journey.

For years, I was so ashamed. I tried desperately to lock away the pieces of myself that I was most regretful of. Fear pierced through my soul anytime I met someone new, and they wanted to know more about me. Those innocent questions threatened to unravel the carefully crafted image I had worked so hard to create.

Has anyone else ever believed that forgiving someone meant you had to welcome them back into your life?

Does forgiveness require a conversation, a face-to-face reunion, or having to act like the inequity never happened at all?
